A demanding production in just 1 day
Photographing yachts is an art that requires absolute dedication, precision, and a deep respect for the shipyard's design. The M/Y Blade 6 project was no exception. For this production, we traveled to the turquoise waters surrounding the lush islet of Moni in Aegina. The location provided the perfect, wind-protected backdrop to showcase the elegance and imposing volume of the vessel in its natural element.
Our goal was to deliver a premium visual package covering every aspect of the experience it offers. That is why aerial photography and video production for the yacht were seamlessly integrated into the shoot, ensuring no detail was left to chance.
As is often the case in yacht videography, time is incredibly precious. We had exactly one day to capture both the dynamic exterior action underway and the meticulous architectural documentation of the interior spaces.
We started early in the morning, playing with the natural sunlight to emphasize the aerodynamic lines of the Blade 6. Inside, our approach focused heavily on architectural photography. We preserved the natural light to highlight the luxurious materials, the carefully curated cabin decor, and the warm hospitality one feels when stepping into the main salon.
The magic of the aerial perspective
To create the ultimate, cinematic yacht videography, the sky was our greatest ally. Flying the drone over the waters of Moni, we framed the M/Y Blade 6 dominating the absolute tranquility of the landscape. The dynamic underway tracking shots, combined with the peaceful anchorage scenes, gave the final video a profound sense of grandeur and freedom.
At the same time, high-end yacht photography from above completed our visual package, freezing the vessel in unique angles and perspectives that no ground camera can ever capture.
