The power of contrast: Before and After
Unlike luxury yachts and villas, this project carried a profound emotional and architectural weight. Our mission at the Paiania Olympic Complex wasn't just to capture beautiful images; it was to tell a story of revival. We had to document the entire journey—from the silence, abandonment, and decay of time, to the radical renovation and, ultimately, the glorious reopening of the facilities.
To capture this transformation with absolute respect and cinematic quality, aerial photography and video production for the complex were executed, thoroughly covering every stage of its impressive evolution.
Creating this commercial documentary required us to truly "feel" the space. The documentation began by focusing heavily on the melancholy of the abandoned stadium. Our goal was to build a powerful visual contrast with the dynamic, fast-paced renovation phase that followed.
By filming the construction work, we highlighted the intensity of the effort, the structural interventions, and the gradual return of life and sports to the venue. The seamless visual transition from the past to the present became the core of our storytelling.
Capturing the scale from the sky
The sheer size of an Olympic Complex is impossible to fully grasp from the ground alone. The aerial perspective was absolutely necessary to showcase the true volume and footprint of the facilities.
Flying over Paiania, our aerial shots captured the geometry and scale of the massive project. The drone provided breathtaking footage that illustrated the magnitude of the renovation from above, giving a truly epic dimension to the final video and connecting the individual buildings with their surrounding environment.
