The story behind the scenes

The reference: The company got in touch with me to film a helicopter in flight. We initiated the project with a Zoom meeting where we discussed their specific requirements and the intended message they wanted to convey through the video.

The following day, I had a detailed meeting with the pilot, during which we meticulously analyzed all the pertinent data and safety regulations we needed to adhere to. This included considerations such as airspeed and wind gusts at the chosen filming location, which ultimately led us to select the island of Io as our shooting site.

Throughout the actual filming process, we maintained continuous telephone communication to provide guidance and ensure the helicopter was on the right course. Additionally, we enforced a strict safety measure, keeping the drone at a safe distance of at least 150 meters from the helicopter at all times to prevent any potential accidents.
